Lily's Fund for Epilepsy Research


The goal of this endowment fund is to support cutting-edge research at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Neurology focused on new treatments for epilepsy and seizure disorders. Income from the fund will be used to provide an annual cash award, to be known as Lily's Award for Epilepsy Research, for a Faculty Member or Research Academic Staff Member in the Department of Neurology whose work contributes to the Department's pursuit of scientific discovery and clinical application. Recipients of the award shall be individuals who have demonstrated academic excellence, creative thinking, collaboration and personal dedication in work that is related to epilepsy and seizure disorders. The Department of Neurology Chair will identify a recipient for this award annually. The fund is created at the request of David F. Giroux II and Anne Morgan Giroux.
